When AOEN debuted, I genuinely believed they would be the last group I would ever actively support.

After years of following different artists, attending concerts, collecting albums, and documenting my experiences through Fan's Log, I felt content. I had already experienced everything I wanted as a fan, and I thought my journey had reached its final chapter.

As it turns out, I was wrong.

When AST8 was officially announced, my curiosity was immediately sparked. Interestingly, it wasn't the members who caught my attention first.

It was their website.

Working in IT while designing and developing websites as a hobby has naturally changed the way I discover new artists and companies. One of the first things I do is visit their official website. To me, a website is more than just a source of information. It reflects a group's branding, identity, and the level of care invested behind the scenes.

AST8's official website left a strong first impression.

Its modern design, polished animations, clean layout, and overall user experience immediately stood out. For a group that had not yet made its debut, the quality of the website exceeded my expectations and suggested that every aspect of the project had been carefully planned from the very beginning.

That first impression encouraged me to learn more.

Only then did I begin looking into the members themselves.

Who are they?

What stories brought them here?

What is the meaning behind the group's name?

What kind of music and performances are they preparing?

What concept will define their identity?

And perhaps most importantly, does their style resonate with me as a fan?

With every answer I found, my interest continued to grow.

The name AST8 is derived from "A Story To ∞," representing the idea that the members and their fans will create an ever growing story together. It is a simple yet meaningful concept, one that emphasizes not only the artists themselves but also the relationship they hope to build with those who support them.

Their artistic direction was equally compelling.

AST8 is committed to pursuing uncompromising quality across every aspect of their music, choreography, and performances. By collaborating with internationally recognized creators, primarily from Korea, the group aims to deliver performances that meet global standards while establishing a distinctive identity of their own.

For someone who appreciates the creativity, planning, and vision behind an artist as much as the performances themselves, AST8 quickly became a group worth following.

Then came the announcement that transformed my curiosity into excitement.

AST8's first fan meeting, "ASTORY."

More than simply being a fan meeting, ASTORY was introduced as the official beginning of AST8's journey with their fans. It would be the first opportunity for the members and supporters to share the opening chapter of the story they hope to build together.

The event promised the debut performance of AST8's original songs, showcasing months of preparation through music, choreography, and performances refined alongside world class creators. It was designed to introduce not only their talents but also the artistic identity that will define AST8 moving forward.

Adding to the anticipation, attendees would also be treated to an exclusive song performed only during the event, making the experience unique for everyone present.

VIP ticket holders received additional benefits, including access to the pre show soundcheck, priority viewing in the front area, and a special send off by all six members after the performance. During the farewell, fans were permitted to capture the moment using their smartphones, creating lasting memories from AST8's very first official event.

The event also included plans for individual Meet & Greet sessions for eligible attendees, offering selected fans the opportunity to interact more personally with their favorite member following the performance.

Looking back, it's amusing to think how convinced I was that AOEN would be the final group I would wholeheartedly support.

Yet AST8 reminded me that becoming a fan is rarely something that can be planned.

Sometimes, it begins with a single announcement.

Sometimes, with an impressive website.

And sometimes, it grows little by little until you realize you've become invested in another story.

Attending ASTORY was more than simply watching a performance. It was an opportunity to witness the very first chapter of AST8's journey unfold alongside fellow fans who had chosen to be there from the beginning.

Years from now, when AST8 reaches new milestones, this first fan meeting will remain a memorable reminder of where it all started.

After all, every great story has a beginning.
